Artists of the Round Table > Close up of links and the damage caused by using a toothed tool.
Artists of the Round Table > A temporary fix for avoiding damage with a toothed tool. the double rings was worked with regular pliers without any protection from the gripping teeth. the upper single ring was worked after multiple layers of masking tape were added for protection. the masking tape is soft and wears down very quickly, but is easy to replace. simply pull the tape out from the roll, grab the end with the pliers and pull.

Artists of the Round Table > This pendant is comprised of several components required in lesson 1.
Artists of the Round Table > i didn't think i'd like double and triple coiled beads, but playing around with different sizes of wire changed my mind. i really like the middle one best.
Artists of the Round Table > just a passle of spring, coil and tornado beads of brass and copper.
Artists of the Round Table > lesson 3 - caged beads. these are actually unpolished rocks i found on the beach caged in lacquered copper with some brass spring beads. i can hardly wait for the brass to develop a dark patina. it'll really look hot, then!
Artists of the Round Table > wrapped and caged beads. the orange beads are made with polymer clay. The design was made with some scraps off the cane ends i received from Sarah Shriver. http://www.sarahshriver.com/ the rest of the beads are purchased plastic, glass and hemalike. i used copper and brass wires.
